Introduction to a BOOK a WEEK (a non committal book club)

While I was in college I found myself lacking sufficient time to really unwind and curl up with a good book. I know that is not every person’s idea of “unwinding” but to me it is a time to decompress, learn, or just delve into some really good fiction. No better feeling than not being able to put a book down.

Since I have graduated and no longer have hefty reading lists to finish I have made it a goal for myself to finish a book every week (or two weeks). The reading lists I have are long and vary in type, but I am very open to any and all recommendations! I will be posting small summaries of books that I have started for that week and will follow up with a small review once I have finished.

Having always wanted to be a part of a book club, this is an easy way for me to share what I love reading and the ideas and themes that I think are important. I have missed the intellectual stimulation and discussion that I got at university and hopefully these small blurbs (and input from friends) will be valuable for me and you!
