Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez
I honestly have no idea what to think of this book other than it took me an abnormally long time to finish. I thought the writing was super descriptive, which I like, but the story was confusing for me. I guess I never got attached to the characters enough to care about the deep love connection. There were times I just wanted to stop reading, which is very unusual for me. The weird part was I began reading this right when COVID-19 hit the United States. To be reading about cholera and also be experiencing a pandemic is pretty strange and constantly gave me this uneasy feeling. I feel like I know people who really like this novel so I am sort of bummed I did not have that experience.
